Picture a statue, usually its a statuette but for this example picture a statue of a man, just the figure, you want to see the statue, but you can't, and you can't because there are all these walls forming circles around it, Steel, Brick and Mortar, Wood. There are no doors, no way to reach the inside, so you stand there, waiting. There are framed pictures outside, pictures of this man on the inside, you look at them all and the steel wall falls letting you closer, before you stands a brick wall, with more pictures, and behind you the steel wall rises, you look at all the pictures, various in nature, then the wall falls same as before, you walk through, and the wall rises. before you is a wooden wall. There are photos laying all over the ground, random photos, you follow them until you reach a door, you walk through the door and inside you see the statue of a boy, curled in a ball, mirrors on the walls, so no matter where you look you have to face yourself. The statue looks fragile enough that the slightest touch might shatter it. The photos closest to the statue are stained with tears. The statue is holding one of himself, with a heart behind it, it is ripped in half and he is trying to put it together. This is me, I put up walls, I show myself at face value, until you get to know more and more about me, the walls crumble around you, but when you reach me I am nothing more then an innocent 12 year old crying over the mistakes, and trying to make himself whole again. Look up, what do you see... The sky, the only direction you can look is towards the heavens...
I used to be able to gauge people, gauge them and their weaknesses, everyone has them, even a diamond can be broken... Fire.
How can one truly search their soul without becoming truly one with themselves without distraction. But the soul yearns for connections, it begs for a hole to be filled, the hole left by God, so we have to seek him, and to look for ourselves is to seek him. To find ourselves we must find God. But how do we find God? That is the question, where do we look, what can we do. Where is the map? I have an answer... The Bible, read it, but do more than read, understand, comprehend, BELIEVE. Let God transform your life, if you are having troubles, it is God who can help you. I was planning to blog about something else, but I feel lead to write this, but I added what I was going to write above. Heaven is the goal, Jesus is the guide, the Bible is the map. follow in his footsteps and you will prosper...
